I use the collage technique to compose my lyrics and narratives in digital illustrations often combined with oil paint and different kinds of paper. I compose and recompose the composition until it moves me like the scene itself moves me- indeed, I often create these artworks plein air. This creative process allows me a freedom of materials and language that can respond to my subject and represent my aesthetic experience of the scene with brevity. My work often begins life as poetic imagery, and is then transformed into material images. These compositions are then typically mounted on acid-free 850GSM core mountboard with museum-grade adhesive and protectorant to finish. There are of course some variations, as I like my choice of materials and techniques and langauge to freely respond to my subject.

Each of my artworks are posted first class in acid-free paper, bubble-wrapped and parcel-paper finished.
